The brief

An existing Emmerys location directly on the route to Hellerup Station — already busy by location alone, but held back by a worn interior and uncomfortable, limited seating.

The brief was to refresh the space within a very tight footprint of 51 sqm, without closing or relocating, and to rethink seating so the store could hold onto customers passing through, not just serve them on their way out.

Key focus areas

• Very compact floor area (51 sqm)
• Full refresh of a worn, dated interior
• Seating increased from around 12 to 16 within the same footprint
• Retaining footfall advantage of a location right by the station
