This website is run by AS Design, CVR 41488980. I am the data controller for the personal data described below. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, write to me at hello@asdesign.dk.

2. When you contact me

If you write to me by email, I receive your name, your email address and anything you include in your message, such as project details, drawings or photos. I use this information to answer your enquiry, prepare a proposal and, if we work together, to carry out the project and handle invoicing.

Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement, and performing that agreement (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). For general enquiries, my legitimate interest in replying to messages (Article 6(1)(f)).

3. Website statistics

With your consent, this website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it: which pages are viewed, how long visits last, what kind of device and browser are used, your approximate location (country or city) and how you found the site. Google Analytics does not store your IP address, and I cannot identify you personally from this data.

Google Analytics only runs if you click Accept in the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time on the Cookie Policy page.

Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)).

4. Technical data and cookies

Like any website, this site runs on a server that automatically records technical information when pages are requested, such as IP address, browser type and time of visit. This is needed to keep the site running and secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).

The cookie banner stores a small cookie that remembers your choice. You can read more about all cookies used on this site in the Cookie Policy.

5. Who receives your data

I never sell your personal data. It is shared only with providers that help me run my business:

  • my web hosting and email providers, which store the website and my email;
  • Google Ireland Limited, for Google Analytics, only if you have given consent. Google may process data in the United States. Such transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Google LLC is certified;
  • my accountant and the Danish tax authorities, where invoicing and bookkeeping require it.

6. How long I keep it

  • Email correspondence: up to 2 years after our last contact, unless we work together.
  • Invoices and accounting records: 5 years from the end of the financial year, as required by the Danish Bookkeeping Act.
  • Google Analytics data: 2 months, after which it is deleted automatically.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access the personal data I hold about you;
  • have incorrect data corrected;
  • have your data deleted;
  • restrict or object to the processing of your data;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before.

To use any of these rights, write to me at hello@asdesign.dk. I will reply within one month. If you believe I handle your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) at datatilsynet.dk.

This website may link to external platforms such as Instagram. When you follow such links, the privacy policy of that platform applies.

9. Changes to this policy

I may update this policy if the website or my services change. The latest version is always published on this page.
